CATHETER II NIHR Funded Study - would like to recruit potential participants

If you have a long-term indwelling urinary catheter and you change your leg bag or valve yourself (or have a relative, friend, or other unpaid carer that helps you with this), you may be eligible to take part in the CATHETER II study.

The CATHETER II study is trying to find out if doing regular catheter washouts reduce the chances of catheter complications such as blockages for people living with long-term indwelling catheters. We hope to see if regular washouts prevent the build-up of debris in the catheter which might reduce blockages. We also want to find out which of two possible washout solutions works best.

For more information about the study, or to talk to someone about taking part, please contact the CATHETER II Trial Office by registering interest via our website https://bit.ly/C2contactus

We look forward to hearing from you.
